Shipping Policy
We pack and ship packages Monday through Saturday, and typically our cutoff for packages going out same-day is 2:30 PM Pacific time. There's a chance that if you make a larger order that we may not have time to make the cutoff for packing, but we strive do to our best to get everything out each day. Carriers do not pick up from us on Sundays, so any order made after the cutoff time on Saturday (2:30 PM) would go out the following Monday.
Currently we offer FREE shipping to continental USA addresses for most orders $300 and above, and we choose between UPS and USPS based on cost to us. We also offer you the choice of your preferred shipping carrier and service if you would prefer to choose, and costs are shown to you at the time of checkout.
Some USA territories have flat fees due to the distance from Patchwerks, and a few items in our catalog require us to charge shipping.
For addresses outside of the USA, our system calculates shipping costs based on item weight and presents you with options you can choose.

For returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs to Patchwerks.
If a package is lost, we can provide the option of reimbursement via insurance. For domestic packages sent to USA addresses, we require that 20 days elapse from the ship date to open a claim. For international addresses, we require 40 days to elapse before opening a claim. These time periods are required by our insurance provider. For lost packages, if you the customer wish to place a second order with the same items with the same or different shipping class, we will do our best to help you with the shipping problem. In the instance that a lost package arrives for which you have paid 2 orders, you can either ship the goods back to Patchwerks at your own cost for a reimbursement on the cost of the goods, or you can keep the second shipment.
If you the customer ask us to waive signature requirement for shipments, Patchwerks is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments.
Please note that only UPS Next Day Air® and USPS Priority Mail Express® are eligible for shipping refunds if the items are not delivered by the estimated delivery date. Otherwise, the delivery dates are estimates and are not refundable if the estimated delivery day is missed.
